As a recognised leading provider of bid writing training in the UK, David’s bid management experience and success is exceptional, particularly in the high technology industries of aerospace and defence.
He now runs interactive one-day workshops in partnership with The North East Regional Portal (TNERP) for groups of 12 to 15 delegates.
The interactive workshops aim explain how to create winning bids and help secure more business, and materials an ongoing support is available through a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
David has over 23 years experience in bid management and leadership, including eight years spent in the US, and is now managing director of Aligned Solutions, the leading independent e-business consultancy in the North East of England.
Aligned Solutions specialises in e-business, project management, bid management, change management and business process design.
David’s impressive track record has also seen him work for organisations including NASA, Lucas Aerospace, One North East and Scottish Enterprise.
David is also project manager for the Catalyst funding initiative, run by the Regional Portal, which aims to help North East businesses adopt innovative IT and internet solutions.
Northumbrian-born David was educated at King Edward VI Grammar School in Morpeth and graduated with a B.Eng (hons) in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
He holds a Diploma in Marketing and is a registered Prince2 Practitioner.
